ENHANCING PROFESSIONAL CAPACITIES

The Pattanathar Educational trust took its initiation in the year 1991. At present it runs many schools & Colleges and all in the limelight in the field of Education. Sivanthi College of Education was established in the year 2008 by Pattanathar Educational Trust and it is recognized by NCTE, affiliated to TNTEU and accredited ‘B’ Grade by NAAC.

The aim of establishing the college is to create quality teachers who can render valuable service in the nation building task.The trust has felt the needs and demands of the rural society and established Sivanthi College of Education in Kundrathur.

The campus has vast area with well built classrooms, well equipped Laboratories, Library, Seminar Hall, Conference Hall, Auditorium and playground and provide a very good environment for the students in the teaching and learning process.

The quantity of education is updated as per the recommendations of UGC, NAAC & TNTEU then and there. The greenery around our college campus adds more beautifulness to our college and keeps the environment clean and green.

“The nation has been built-up in the four walls of the classroom” yes, as the status of the country depends upon the quality of the education. Education plays a major role in the well being of the nation. Our goal is to create quality teachers, who have the ability to shape the character, enhance and enrich the cognitive and intellectual domain of students and make them a responsible citizen. Hard work and commitment are the important requirement for success. Reaching the goal is not a big matter, but sustaining in that position and marching towards the progress plays a vital role. In this competitive world, the younger generation should possess the qualities such as hard work, commitment, responsibility, discipline, sincerity, tolerance willpower, acceptance of failure and brotherhood. Updation of knowledge in the subject, skills and technology is very much essential for success in the respective fields. The character and discipline plays major role in the successfulness of one’s own personal life and career.

Being the Founder and the Chairman of Sivanthi College of Education, I am very happy and proud to create and mould younger generation a responsible citizens.
